magicmomma > Citico Creek Wilderness, TN The lay of the land here is that of a steep sided gorge with the road passing through the bottom and river running paralellel to the road most of the way. The gloom of the gorge is contrasted with the burnished bronze glow of sun from above on Autumn leaves. Nov. 7, 2008

magicmomma > Sun went behind a cloud and we finally got something resembling a silky shot of Upper Creek Falls with the Olympus. Full sun, facing into it, and mixture of dark and light (hot) rock around the falls makes for bad pictures.
magicmomma > Field of sunflowers in Blount County on my drive home. It had rained and was misty. I had to pull over to see this thing.
magicmomma > Scrubby area atop Starr Mountain filled with tall sunflowers!
